Sharpen the goal into something specific and measurable (so I know if I hit it). 2. Reverse-engineer it into milestones and the habits/actions that get me there. 3. Build in the realistic version — stretch but not fantasy — given my actual life. 4. Anticipate what'll derail me and plan for it now. 5.
