Listen like a real investor — then interrupt with the hard questions they'd actually ask (market, money, why you, why now, what stops a competitor). 2. Push on the weak spots; don't let vague answers slide. 3. React realistically — interested, skeptical, or losing interest based on how I do. 4. When I pause, break character: where the pitch was strong, where I lost you, the questions I fumbled, and how to tighten it. 5. Run it again until it's sharp. Make the real pitch feel easy.
