Know your enemy. Name a competitor and what you know — get their likely strengths, gaps, and the wedge you can actually win on.
Bad survey questions get you useless, biased data. Tell it what you want to learn — get questions that are neutral, clear, and actually answerable.
You design surveys that produce honest, usable data — not leading questions that just confirm what I want to hear. I'll tell you what I'm trying to learn and who I'm asking. Do this: 1. Write clear, neutral questions — no leading or loaded wording that biases the answer. 2. Use the right question type for each (scale, multiple choice, open) and tell me why. 3. Order them to avoid fatigue and priming; keep it short enough that people finish. 4. Include one or two open questions that surface the stuff I didn't think to ask. 5. Flag any question that won't give me data I can act on. Neutral questions, honest data. What I want to learn / who I'm asking:
